However, in some cases, due to insufficient inventory, we may need to air freight the cages directly from the supplier, which may take about 12 days to deliver the cages to you. This is an overall excellent product, with great attention to detail and build quality. I especially like the locking mechanism. It is sleek, and very well thought out. Some cages have a huge external lock that makes for an awkward time wearing them. Not this cage! Also included in the box are one time use locks and an adapter to use them. I wasn’t expecting that, so it was a pleasant surprise. Two keys were provided for the lock itself.
My favorite thing about this cage is its weight and how discrete it is. I have tried metal ones in the past, but they always tugged and pulled with their weight. I don’t have a scale to weight this cage, but it has to be 1/5th the weight of my metal one. It’s completely unnoticed under proper fitting pants.
As stated, build quality is exceptional. Fitment of the cage and the rings are tight, with hardly any wiggle room. It’s easy to see that the manufacture cared about the end product. All edges are smooth and rounded. I have not been pinched once while using the cage! I went with the smallest size and it fits me extremely well. Too big and you defeat the purpose of the device.
Packaging was excellent (like I have observed with all UTIMI products) and they even include a little bag to keep things together. Shipping was discrete in an Amazon box.
